From page four to page one in ninety days
Page four is the most expensive place to sit. The page exists, the intent is right, and almost nobody arrives. Here is the sequence we run when a client is stuck between positions twenty and fifty.
Weeks one to four: diagnose honestly* Pull the queries where you rank between eleven and fifty and sort them by commercial value.
* For the top twenty, read the pages currently in the first three positions and note what they have that you do not.
* Check indexation before anything else — a page that is not indexed cannot rank.
Weeks five to twelve: improve before you addThe fastest movement usually comes from upgrading existing pages: tightening the opening answer, adding the section competitors have, fixing headings that do not match the query, and giving the page a reason to be linked to.
Improving a page that already ranks in the twenties is cheaper than publishing a new one.
Only once the almost-ranking pages have been lifted does new production join the calendar. Ninety days is enough for a first honest read on whether the strategy is working.
